MAKING THIS ANIMAL SOUND ON THE TOILET CAN ACTUALLY HELP YOU POOP

Making this animal sound on the toilet can actually help you poop — a childhood habit works too

Straining on the toilet can lead to hemorrhoids, which are swollen, inflamed veins around the anus or lower rectum. Here, a woman holds a toilet paper roll while sitting on a toilet with her jeans around her knees.

You can breathe easy with this

pooping pointer.

“If you’re struggling with constipation and straining, then this is one pooping hack that actually works,”

Dr. Karan Rangarajan, also known as Dr. Karan Raj, recently said on TikTok.

Rangarajan suggests three “gentler” forms of the Valsalva maneuver, a breathing exercise that involves forcefully exhaling while your mouth and nose are closed, increasing pressure within the chest and abdomen. The extra intra-abdominal pressure helps stool move through the colon.

“You’re controlling the exhalation phase of breathing, which activates your vagus nerve,” Rangarajan explained. “This means more wave-like contractions of your intestines and a good poop coming to a toilet near you.”

The vagus nerve, which is the longest cranial nerve, plays a crucial role in vital functions like breathing, heart rate and digestion.

The nerve is also the key component in the gut-brain axis, the complicated network of nerves that link the gastrointestinal tract and the central nervous system.

Rangarajan said that while the three diaphragmatic breathing techniques sound “silly,” they can strengthen the gut-brain connection.

“This helps you avoid straining by making sure your pelvic floor muscles are more coordinated, both in contraction and relaxation,” Rangarajan added. “And your rectum will thank you later when you don’t get hemorrhoids.”

Hemorrhoids are swollen, inflamed veins around the anus or lower rectum. They can manifest as bleeding, itching and pain and signal constipation, diarrhea, straining during bowel movements and sitting on the toilet for lengthy periods.

After Kelly Peterson, a pelvic, visceral and orthopedic physical therapist known as “the belly whisperer,” noted that blowing bubbles can help you poop without straining or pushing, Rangarajan said pretending to blow bubbles or blow out a candle or making an elongated moo that sounds like a “horny cow” should do the trick.

“I’m surprised this isn’t common knowledge,” Rangarajan told his 5.3 million TikTok followers.

Making an elongated moo that sounds like a "horny cow" can help you poop. Here, a brown and white cow with a yellow tag on its right ear moos.

The TikTok users were udderly divided in the comments.

“Tried the moo sound. Not a great option at the office bathrooms,” one person penned.

“Tried this trick this morning and it actually worked! No more straining for me. Who knew blowing bubbles could be so helpful?” another shared.

“Blowing your nose while sitting on the toilet does the same thing too,” a third advised.

SABRENA CARPENTER FANS CLAIM A WOMAN URINATED ON THE FLOOR AT CONCERT

Sabrina Carpenter Fans Claim a Woman Urinated in the Crowd at Concert: ‘I Got Peed on in the Pit’

By Charlotte Phillipp  Published on November 10, 2024 06:34PM EST

A Sabrina Carpenter fan left quite an impression at a recent tour stop!

On Saturday, Nov. 9, fans who attended the 25-year-old “Taste” singer's San Francisco concert at the Chase Center alleged on social media that a woman watching the show from the 18,000-seat arena's floor “squatted down” and urinated on the concrete floor.

In one TikTok video, a concertgoer shows off a photo of the alleged puddle of urine on the floor as the crowd parted to make way for the mess.

"Imagine you are just patiently waiting for sweet baby angel Sabrina to come out on stage when all of the sudden [a] random girl squats down, takes off her underwear and pees all over the floor," the concertgoer wrote.

"At least the crowd had a good sense of humor about it after it was cleaned up…😭," she captioned the TikTok, which included photos of concertgoers posing with text on their phones reading: “I GOT PEED ON IN THE PIT TO SEE SABRINA.”

The TikTok user also alleged in a comment that the woman who urinated was kicked out from the show. "I have a video of her standing on the puddle and then security making her leave," she claimed.

Another TikTok shared by a concert attendee included an image of a Chase Center staff member wearing gloves and wielding a mop.

Representatives for the Chase Center did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on Sunday, Nov. 10.

Despite the alleged pee incident in San Francisco, Carpenter has had an exciting week due to the Nov. 8 Grammy nominations.

Carpenter earned six Grammy nominations, including in the big four categories: album of the year (Short n' Sweet), best new artist, song of the year nod ("Please Please Please”) and record of the year (“Espresso”). Her album also nabbed a nod for best pop vocal album, while “Espresso” also received a nom for best pop solo performance.

The “Bed Chem” singer shared videos on Instagram showing her tearful reactions to the nominations from her tour bus. As the announcement for best pop solo performance nominees kicked off with Beyoncé and Carpenter, the musician and her friends screamed and clapped.

“Beyoncé and Sabrina Carpenter!” she yelled.

Elsewhere in the reaction videos, Carpenter said, “I don’t know how that’s possible,” and cried as her friends hugged her.

“Us on the tour bus this morning take a shot every time we scream like fr headphone warning,” the singer captioned the post. “This is the first year I’ve watched the live stream where I heard my name! I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t dreamt about this day my whole life so I am filled with gratitude - Thank you @recordingacademy :’)).”

SOMEONE RE-INVENTED THE TOILET SO YOU CAN DO YOUR BUSINESS ANYWHERE

Someone reinvented the toilet so that you can do your business anywhere

Innovative, unusual toilet incinerates waste, removes the stink

By Kurt Knutsson, CyberGuy Report Fox News

Published October 9, 2024 6:00am EDT

Have you ever considered how access to proper sanitation affects health, dignity and the environment?

In a groundbreaking move, the pioneering water and housing products company LIXIL secured its position as the first commercial license partner for the Generation 2 Reinvented Toilet (G2RT). This innovative off-grid toilet, developed in collaboration with Georgia Tech, is set to revolutionize sanitation practices worldwide. With billions of people lacking access to safe sanitation facilities, the G2RT offers a promising solution that could transform lives and communities.

What makes the G2RT special?

The G2RT is not your average toilet. It operates independently of traditional infrastructure, treating waste directly at the source. This remarkable technology eliminates the need for connection to sanitation grids or septic systems. The G2RT transforms solid waste into safe, compostable dry solids through high heat and pressure while purifying and recycling liquid waste for flushing. Notably, the process also kills harmful pathogens, significantly reducing the spread of waterborne diseases.

The journey to commercialization

LIXIL is moving swiftly to prepare for commercialization. With the ink barely dry on their commercial license, the company is already gearing up for the next phase. They are actively refining the technology to ensure that it is suitable for both private and public-sector use. LIXIL aims to have the G2RT market-ready within the next three to five years. This innovation has the potential to benefit the 3.5 billion people worldwide who currently lack access to safely managed sanitation services.

Why this matters

The G2RT represents more than just a toilet; it serves as a solution to a global crisis. By preventing water contamination, it reduces the risk of diseases like cholera and dysentery while offering significant savings in construction and installation costs. Furthermore, it brings sanitation to communities where traditional infrastructure is not feasible.

Kurt's key takeaways

By transforming a basic necessity into an advanced, self-contained appliance, LIXIL is not only innovating in toilet technology but also paving the way for improved public health, reduced environmental impact and enhanced quality of life for billions. The next few years will be crucial as LIXIL works to bring this game-changing technology to market, potentially ushering in a new era of sanitation accessibility worldwide.

CHICAGO MARKS 20 YEARS SINCE DAVE MATTHEWS BAND DUMPED 800 POUNDS OF HUMAN WASTE IN RIVER

Chicago Marks 20 Years of Dave Matthews Band Dumping 'Disgusting' 800 Lbs. of Human Waste in River

On Thursday, Aug. 8, the "Windy City" recalled the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band's infamous "poopgate" incident that occurred 20 years ago

By Njera Perkins  Updated on August 8, 2024 03:25PM EDT

Chicagoans today are remembering the sickening Dave Matthews Band incident from 20 years ago that got regrettably flushed into history forever. That's right, #poopgate.

Thursday, Aug. 8, marks the 20-year anniversary of the 2004 incident in which a driver (Stefan Wohl) for the band's tour bus unceremoniously dumped 800 lbs. of human waste from its septic tank onto Chicago’s Little Lady boat passing under the Kinzie Street Bridge.

Dozens who were onboard the sightseeing boat and many from the city still shudder at the mention of the messy mistake that they, as FOX 32 Chicago anchor Sylvia Perez puts it, "would like to forget."

The outlet recalled that Dave Matthews Band — known for their environmental activism — "created a foul footnote in Chicago music history" that fateful day, but the city continues to revisit it as a cautionary tale.

FOX 32 Chicago's Dane Placko resurfaced his original 2004 footage reporting on the "sickening soaking" this week, noting that it earned the infamous bridge incident a commemorative plaque and a sticker that reads, "I survived Dave Matthews Band Poopgate 2004."

"It was pretty... pretty disgusting," Sonja Lund, the captain aboard Chicago's Little Lady that day, said in an old interview. "I don't even know if I could describe to you how disgusting it was."

Dave Matthews Band's bus driver eventually pleaded guilty to the dumping on misdemeanor charges of reckless conduct and water pollution. According to the Chicago Tribune, he was sentenced to 18 months of probation, 150 hours of community service and fined $10,000.

Dave Matthews Band wasn't aboard the bus at the time of the incident, but the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees have since tried to rectify the mistake by donating $50,000 each to the Chicago Park District and Friends of the Chicago River, per NBC Chicago.

According to the outlet, Matthews, 57, continued to express remorse to the city of Chicago years after the incident, telling former WTMX radio host Cara Carriveau in a 2009 podcast interview, "I'll apologize for that as long as I have to."

"The bus driver lost his job, and I didn't have my finger on the button, but it was one of our buses —wasn't mine — but it was one of the buses in my employment, and so I feel bad about it," he added. "It would be funnier if it was anyone else but me."

Currently, Dave Matthews Band is on their summer tour, which wraps up in Washington on Sept. 1. They're also scheduled to perform at New York's Farm Aid festival later that month.

A dance party at Hideout Chicago is marking the city's 20-year anniversary of the dumping on Thursday with a sold-out event called "Don’t Drink the Water." Meanwhile, the city's sports team mascots commemorated the occasion with a viral video.

ELTON JOHN GETS SUPPORT FROM PORTABLE URINAL COMPANY AFTER PEEING IN BOTTLE IN STORE

TMZ

Elton John Gets Support From Portable Urinal Co. After Peeing in Bottle

PORTABLE URINAL CO. SAYS HE'S #1!!!

7/13/2024 12:20 AM PT

Elton John's recent pee emergency in a French shoe store might be a troubling sign for the legendary singer ... but, the folks at a portable urinal company say they've got him covered.

Here's the streaming news Elton -- and others, we're sure -- can use ... Jeffrey Luckey is the owner of Biorelief.com, and says his company's got a bunch of options for the 77-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer.

As we reported, Elton whipped out his "Rocketman" in the middle of the store in Nice, and relieved himself in a bottle.

JL says the company's all about discretion -- something Sir Elton was lacking -- and they make that possible with products he can conceal under any outfit.

Stadium Pal Kit Portable Urina biorelief.com

Take their Stadium Pal for instance ... Luckey says you can go anywhere at any time, so Elton could've taken a whiz and bought a pair of sneakers at the same time.

BTW, Luckey -- like Michael Blackson, who we got at LAX earlier this week -- says Elton's age means he needs a john more often, so best to be prepared ... whether out and about or in bed at night.

As we told you, Elton took a whiz in the middle of the shop when the owner told him there was no public restroom -- but no hard feelings, they shook hands before parting ways.

Just think, with a portable urinal, you could shake hands and shake out the last few drops at the same time!

ELTON JOHN PEES IN BOTTLE IN STORE IN FRANCE, OWNER SAYS

TMZ

Elton John Pees in Plastic Bottle at Store in France, Owner Claims

SHOE SHOPPING'S A REAL PISSER ...

EXCLUSIVE DETAILS

7/8/2024 10:40 AM PT

Elton John couldn't hold it while shopping for sneakers over in France, and ended up pissing in a plastic bottle in the middle of a store ... so says the guy who runs the shop.

Ryan Sukkar, owner of Sugarkikz in Nice, tells TMZ ... Elton came into his shop Monday afternoon with his 2 sons and a bodyguard and asked if there was a public restroom.

When Elton was told there wasn't a toilet around, the shop owner says the singer turned to his security and asked for a bottle ... then took a few steps away from other shoppers and began taking a leak in the receptacle.

Sounds like Elton's got poor aim ... we're told he got some pee on the floor and asked his security for a towel to clean up the mess.

The shop owner says he was "shocked and frustrated" a customer would take a tinkle like that ... and this was a first in his 3 years running the business.

Seems Elton really had Ryan's head spinning ... he says he had no idea who EJ was when this was all going down, and when he asked Elton what he did for a living, the singer simply responded, "I'm Elton John." Classic Elton, really.

Ryan says he did a quick search online, and that's when he realized this was a huge deal. In the end, we're told Elton bought 2 pairs of sneakers for his sons, snapped a picture for the store and shook hands with Ryan before leaving.

No word if he used his "pee hand" during the salutation, but there was no mention of the pee-pee incident.

And Ryan clearly wasn't crying over spilled urine, because he tells us ... overall, Elton was very cool.

When you're Elton John, the world is your toilet!!!

LESLIE JONES MAKES GUESTS SIGN A FORM TO GET IN HER POOL TO PREVENT THEM PEEING IN IT

Entertainment Weekly

Leslie Jones makes guests sign a form to get in her pool to prevent them from peeing in it

"I don't let nobody get in my pool," Jones quipped.

By Maureen Lee Lenker  Published on July 2, 2024 06:16PM EDT

Leslie Jones takes her pool hygiene seriously.

The former Saturday Night Live cast member explained her strict policies surrounding her swimming pool while appearing on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast. "My whole pool is a bath," she explained, noting that she keeps the water temperature quite high. "I'm kind of a germaphobe like you. Plus, I don't let nobody get in my pool, and you have to sign something to get in my pool."

Mandel and other guests, including his daughter Jacqueline Schultz, questioned Jones. "You have, like, an NDA for your pool?" asked Schultz.

But Jones explained the reasoning behind her pre-plunge paperwork. "Because people pee in your pool," she continued. "Let me explain something to you. People don't know what their ass or their d--- or p---- does in hot water until it is emerged. My [pool] is 104 degrees. If you step into a hot pool, you don't know if you're gonna fart automatically. You don't know if that s--- gonna make you p---. I make people go to the bathroom. I make them take a shower before they get in my s---."

Jones is also serious about banning people not just from her pool, but from her company if they break their contract. " I tell them, 'If you pee in my pool, that means you will pee in my life. Get the f-- out,'" she said. "I could count how many people has been in my pool."

One question remained about this policy, however, which is how does Jones know if someone breaks the rule? No, she doesn't fill her pool with a special chemical that exposes the culprit. "I just know," she insisted. "They have that look on their face. Every time I go to a pool, I could tell where somebody's peeing. It's a dead look."

But while she may have strict guidelines around her private pool, Jones is going to be spending a lot of time around an Olympic-sized pool this summer when she returns to NBC as the chief super-fan commentator of the Paris 2024 Summer Games.

Perhaps she'll be less concerned about pool hygiene if she's too busy screaming Katie Ledecky's name.

AH: I wouldn't get in her pool because 104 degrees is too hot for me. I wouldn't even go in a hot tub     temperature.

WHY CHANGING DIAPERS IS A PRIVILEGE

I found this post by a dad heartening.

HOW TO POTTY TRAIN A CHRISTIAN

Here's a fifth post, this one focused more so on young Christians rather than those who are more mature in Christ as the previous posts did.

POTTY TRAINING AND MY WALK WITH GOD

Wow! Here's a fourth post with even more wisdom drawn from the physical toilet training experience.

THREE SIGNS YOU ARE STILL BEING POTTY TRAINED

Here's a third post, but more focused on the spiritual aspect.

LESSONS FROM THE POTTY CHAIR

Here's another awesome post along the same lines, but with some different thoughts, as the previous one. And she's Canadian, too!

A PRAYER FOR POTTY TRAINING

Personally, on my walk with the Lord Jesus Christ, I am big on a couple of things. One is seeing Christ in my everyday life, present in my experiences, working on my behalf all the time, and above all that friend that sticks closer than a brother, as the Book of Proverbs says.

Another thing is that, since God is as described above, He is intimately concerned with all aspects of His followers' lives.

I also happen to think that a lot of things in life can be analogous to toilet training.

It is for the above three reasons I am sharing this post.

It is just so great how this woman knows God cares about what some would call little things like her daughters becoming potty trained and her taking this to the Lord in prayer is right on. The fact that she then draws a paralel between the physical process of learning to use the toilet and our spiritual progress with Jesus Christ as human beings makes this piece extra wonderful.

Here's hoping my fellow believers find this prayer useful, whatever their household situation.

GRANDFATHER HORRIFIED AS SCHOOL LOCKS BATHROOMS BEHIND METAL CAGES

Fox News

Grandfather horrified as school locks bathrooms behind metal cages

Grandparent says locking students out of bathrooms is 'going too far'

By Teny Sahakian Fox News

Published March 27, 2024 3:00pm EDT

A grandparent was outraged after a school in the United Kingdom installed metal cage-like doors to bathroom entrances to prevent students from using the restroom during class.

"School is supposed to be a safe place for kids, and it is supposed to be a relaxed environment, but how it is a relaxed environment when they are locked up?" grandparent Ian Ward told Coventry Live.

Ward, whose six grandchildren attend the Foxford Community School in Longford, England, said the school installed "cage doors" on March 6 to stop kids from using the bathroom during class and without supervision. He said his grandkids were 'upset' over the change, which applies to students in years seven through 11.

"Kids are only allowed to go to the toilet under supervision, which is totally wrong," Ward, 54, said. "It is taking away the freedom of being able to use the toilet as and when you need it."

A spokesperson for the school told Coventry Live: "We have recently installed metal doors to two toilet areas, these are not cages and the doors are unlocked before and after school, as well as at break and lunchtimes."

A photo Ward took shows a locked metal door blocking the restroom. The grandfather said prior to the jail-like door installments, the school had already begun locking the bathroom stall doors, but began barricading the entire restroom a few weeks ago.

"What if a child is on their period or has problems holding for a long time?" Ward asked. "I understand they have problems with kids in toilets, but to put metal doors on them is just going too far."

Ward called the move "disgusting" and said there are other ways the school can monitor students during class besides barring them from accessing the restroom.

"Having somebody sit by the toilets at certain times, and if there is a problem then someone is close by," he told Coventry Live. "There is no need to lock them and say you are not using them."

Foxford Community School did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.
